Privacy Policy

Your information is used to do the work and protected with clear limits.

This policy explains what Ricky's Automations collects from website visitors and clients, how that information is used, and the commitments made around credentials, connected accounts, payments, and business data.

1. Information Collected

Ricky's Automations may collect information you provide through the website, email, signed agreements, project intake, support requests, or service delivery. This can include your name, email address, phone number, company name, role, project details, messages, social media handles, business location, service preferences, and other details you choose to send.

For client work, the information may also include documents, workflow details, source-system information, screenshots, reports, content drafts, access invitations, credentials, API keys, tokens, analytics, platform IDs, ad account details, and related business data needed to perform the agreed services.

Payment-related information may include invoice status, payment method preference, billing contact details, payment handles, checkout confirmations, and similar business records. Ricky's Automations does not request, collect, or store full credit card numbers on this site.

2. How Information Is Used

  • To respond to inquiries and evaluate whether a project is a fit.
  • To scope, build, maintain, troubleshoot, and support agreed automation work.
  • To access client systems only as needed for approved services.
  • To prepare agreements, invoices, payment records, confirmations, and project communications.
  • To improve the website, understand general traffic patterns, and keep the site secure.
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, platform, or security obligations.

3. Credentials, Account Access, and Authorization

Some services require access to client accounts, such as websites, databases, analytics tools, payment tools, social media accounts, ad platforms, APIs, cloud services, or automation platforms. That access is treated as confidential and is used only to deliver the services you approved.

Ricky's Automations will not use your credentials or connected account access to make unauthorized changes, change passwords, remove administrators, publish unauthorized content, change platform settings, alter ad budgets, make purchases, create charges, or otherwise act outside the agreed scope without your approval.

When practical, clients should use platform role invitations, OAuth connections, scoped API keys, and other limited-access methods instead of sharing master passwords. Access should be revoked when the work ends or when it is no longer needed.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

Ricky's Automations does not sell personal information, client information, credentials, account data, or project data. Ricky's Automations also does not share client information with third parties for their own marketing or independent commercial use.

Limited information may be shared with service providers or platforms when needed to operate the site, process forms, send email, host services, process payments, deliver automations, connect client systems, troubleshoot issues, or meet legal obligations. Examples may include website hosting providers, Formsubmit, Google Analytics, Stripe, email providers, project tools, cloud providers, and the client-approved platforms involved in the work.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse or security issues, or with your permission.

5. Payments and Charges

Any payment links or card payments are handled through third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Ricky's Automations does not request, collect, or store full payment card numbers on rickysautomations.com.

Ricky's Automations will not make unauthorized charges to your card, bank account, platform billing account, ad account, or other payment method. Service fees, subscriptions, invoices, platform ad spend, and other charges must be authorized by you, your signed agreement, your selected checkout, or another written approval.

6. Analytics, Cookies, and Site Data

The site uses Google Analytics to understand general traffic and site performance. Analytics may collect device, browser, approximate location, referral, and usage information. IP anonymization is enabled where configured in the site analytics setup.

You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics may affect measurement but should not prevent basic access to the site.

7. Security

Ricky's Automations uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards appropriate for a small service business. These include limiting access to information based on business need, preferring scoped access where practical, and using service providers that support secure transmission and account controls.

No website, email system, or connected platform can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Please avoid sending highly sensitive personal information, unnecessary financial details, Social Security numbers, or unrelated confidential records unless they are truly required for the work and an appropriate sharing method has been agreed.

8. Data Retention

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for inquiries, service delivery, maintenance, business records, tax/accounting purposes, dispute prevention, security, and legal obligations. Client credentials, tokens, and admin access should be removed or revoked when they are no longer needed for the agreed services.

You may ask for your information to be updated, returned, deleted, or for account access to be removed. Some records may need to be retained where required for legitimate business, tax, accounting, legal, or security reasons.

9. Your Choices

  • You can choose not to provide optional information, though some details may be required to scope or complete a service.
  • You can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of information you provided.
  • You can revoke account access, tokens, role invitations, or API keys, though doing so may pause or prevent service delivery.
  • You can ask not to receive non-essential follow-up emails.

10. Children

Ricky's Automations is intended for businesses and adult clients. The site and services are not directed to children under 13, and Ricky's Automations does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the site, services, tools, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site or services after an update means the updated policy applies going forward.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email rickysautomations@gmail.com. If your request involves a specific client account, include enough detail to identify the project or account without sending passwords in the email.
